Santo Stefano Quisquina (AG)
The Activity
S. Stefano Quisquina had not until recently a ceramic tradition. The work carried out within the "LITEGI Pezzi unico" Artistic Workshop has certainly been the driving force behind the numerous experiments, in an unprecedented sector, which led to the creation of high quality works.
The owner Giuseppe Andrea Rabante has the merit of having brought to the Quisquinese territory the manufacture of ceramics and specifically the Raku production which, through its fleeting nature, gives objects a unique beauty.
In experimenting with majolica production, new paths are searched for solutions that always look to tradition, but go towards contemporary scenarios.
Equally precious are the frames in lime and silver, strong pieces, in addition to ceramics, of the handicraft and artistic production of the Laboratory.
The LITEGI Workshop started in 2006 by Giuseppe Andrea Rabante, a graduate of the Liceo Artistico, immediately distinguished itself, from the beginning, for a continuous investigation and experimentation of innovative techniques and the creation of very rich original works.
Decorator, gilder and ceramist Giuseppe Andrea Rabante stands out in the artistic context by experimenting with complex techniques and exceptional results, such as the metallic reflections of raku, the seco cuerda technique and in the design and production of polymeric frames he has developed over the years with techniques unique, characterized by iridescence and wonderful colors.
Ceramica Litegi is characterized by the handwork of the entire piece that goes from design to production of the finished product: each object is a unique and exclusive piece. The traditional decorations are combined with new creations and processes that combine well with modern furnishings but also with the classic and traditional.
La Bottega Litegi is an eclectic reality and a meeting point between different professionals, that with the passion for work and the ability to meet the different needs of design and realization of custom objects make it a reference reality for architects, designers, designers and outfitters.
Over the years he has set up and participated in several group exhibitions, where the exhibits have met with considerable success and positive criticism.
