Apiario Ciccarello
Santo Stefano Quisquina (AG)
The Ciccarello Apiary is located in the heart of the Sicani Mountains, in the town of Santo Stefano Quisquina, where bees capture the essences of local flowers giving honey the typical scents of the Sicilian hinterland.
The bees are bred in hives, in wooden frames and wax, treated only with non-toxic paints.
The cold-worked honey extracted by centrifugal force can crystallize in the presence of low temperatures because it is not pasteurized, a characteristic that keeps the product unaltered as it occurs in nature, both in taste and in its beneficial properties.
