Production area: Chinesi district, Alessandria della Rocca AG

Altitude: 400 mt

Soil: calcareous, alkaline and rich in calcium soil

Harvest: second week of September

Grapes: Nero D’Avola and Sirah (50% - 50%)

Fermentation: in steel at a controlled temperature of about 28 degrees.

Aging: in steel containers for a year, six months in reconditioned barriques, then three months of further aging in the bottle

Degrees: 14 %

Serving temperature: 18 degrees

Tasting notes: Purple-red wine with an intense and complex aroma, clear notes of plum and ripe cherry in the mouth, the well-present tannins give the wine great softness.

Serving suggestions: pecorino cheese from Monti Sikani, roast lamb with potatoes, grilled meat and sausage, pasta alla Norma with fried aubergines.
